Motorcyclist dead after crash involving school bus in Buxton

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a school bus in Buxton on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened on Route 202 near River Road around 2:50 Tuesday afternoon. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there were no children on the bus at the time, and the bus driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The area was expected to remain closed to traffic for several hours while police reconstructed the crash.
