A motorcycle accident in Scarborough claimed the life of a 52-year-old man Thursday morning, police say.

The Scarborough Public Safety Dept. received a 911 call about a motorcycle accident on Broadturn Rd. just after 5:30 a.m.

Police and members of the fire department arrived at the scene and found the body of Brian Buck.

Police believe no other vehicles were involved in the wreck that took buck’s life and speed doesn’t appear to be a factor.

Broadturn Rd. was closed between Route 1 and Ash Swamp Rd. for several hours while Scarborough police and a Windham Police Dept. reconstructionist team investigated the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
