RANDOLPH, N.H. (AP) New Hampshire State Police are at the scene of a crash involving multiple motorcycles and a pickup truck on U.S. 2 in Randolph.
According to our info partners at CBS 13, 7 people were killed and three others injured after the crash which happened around 6:30pm. One person was airlifted to Maine Medical Center, and two other victims were treated at a local hospital.
Witnesses described a horrific scene. Rich Wallingford, an owner of a nearby inn, said he saw several bodies covered with blankets, scattered motorcycles on the pavement, and a damaged pickup and trailer. He said, “It’s a very sad night.”
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation said that the entire stretch of highway was closed Friday evening.
