Over two dozen people attended a Neo-Nazi rally in Augusta Saturday afternoon.

According to CBS 13, the demonstrators were reported to be in the area near Capitol Street and State Street.

A spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety said Capitol Police and the Augusta Police were made aware of the gathering around 3:30 p.m. and monitored the conduct of the Neo-Nazis until the group dispersed.

Police reported that the demonstration was peaceful, and no damage was caused.
