New Hampshire student quarantined after close contact with coronavirus patient

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) Dartmouth College says a business school student who attended an event also attended by a hospital worker who tested positive for the new coronavirus feels flu-like symptoms and is under self-quarantine.

Dartmouth said the student attended the event Friday for Tuck School of Business and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center at the Engine Room in White River Junction, Vermont.

Dartmouth said Tuck canceled the last remaining day of classes for the term “out of an abundance of caution.” The students are waiting to learn if testing is needed for COVID-19.
