NAPLES, Maine (AP) Public safety officials in a Maine town say a New Hampshire resident died in an all-terrain vehicle crash near a camp he owned.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says the crash killed 59-year-old Wayne Jackson, of Loudon, New Hampshire, on Thursday night in Naples. They say Naples Rescue was the first to arrive and they found Jackson dead from head injuries.

The sheriff’s office says Jackson was operating the ATV when it rolled over, landing on top of him. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Police say they’re still investigating the crash. They say speed and alcohol are not considered factors.
