A New Hampshire woman who police say was driving recklessly and crashed multiple times on the interstate in Maine is facing charges.

Public Safety Spokeswoman Shannon Moss said 33-year-old Caitlin Black of Milton, New Hampshire was driving erratically while heading northbound on the Maine Turnpike Monday afternoon. Police said she crashed into a median guardrail at Exit 44 on I-295 in Scarborough, then continued driving and struck another car.

Troopers arrived to take her into custody but said she continued driving until finally coming to a stop at Exit 6A. Police said she was uncooperative as they took her into custody.

Black was taken to Maine Medical Center to be evaluated. She was charged with driving to endanger, OUI, assault, and refusing to submit to arrest.

No one was injured.
