NH Woman Charged in Hit-and-Run, Crash

ACTON, Maine (WGAN)  The York County Sheriff’s Office says a New Hampshire woman is facing charges after a crash Friday night in Acton.

The sheriff’s office says around midnight on Friday, they got a call that a white Suburban had hit another car at Willy’s Ale Room in Acton.  Police say while responding to the scene, they were told about a one-car crash on Route 109, a short distance away, involving a white suburban.

Police say it was, in fact, the same vehicle.  The driver 34-year-old Malori Anderson admitted to police she had just left Willy’s Ale Room.  Anderson was alone in the car.

Police say the was charged with OUI, refusing to sign a summons, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failing to notify of an accident by quickest means.

Police say Anderson was released on $500 bail.

She has a court date in July.
