PITTSTON, Maine (WGAN) Strong winds whipped up the flames from a fire that started at an equipment yard in Pittston on Monday afternoon.

Investigators say the fire started in an outdoor burn barrel at the heavy equipment lay-down yard on East Pittston Road.

According to the Kennebec Journal, it spread to a 3-story residence next door and across Route 194, reaching one of the buildings in the Tuthill antique village.

No injuries were reported.
