A student and the driver of a school bus were not injured when the vehicle crashed in Sumner on Tuesday.

The RSU 10 superintendent says the school bus slid down an ice-covered dirt road and crashed into an embankment, ending up on its side.

The driver and one student were the only people on board.

Parents of students who live on the remainder of the route were told they could drive their kid to school or wait for a replacement bus.

The crash is under investigation.
