BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Police in Bangor say no one was injured after a report of gunshots on Thursday night.

Sergeant Wade Betters says officers responded to 40 Second Street around 8:40 p.m. Thursday to a report of gunshots. Police confirmed that several shots had been fired near the front of the building but no one was injured. They believe those involved knew each other and there’s no reason to believe there’s any threat to the public.

The Bangor Police Department is still investigating and asking anyone with information to give them a call.
