RAYMOND, Maine (WGAN) No one was hurt when a car and a school bus collided in Raymond on Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Webbs Mills Road. 26 elementary school kids who were on board were checked out to make sure they were okay. They were later brought to school on another bus.

Investigators said 35-year-old Noah Maclean of Casco was heading south on Rt. 85 when the bus driver, 66-year-old Joseph Conley, was making a right turn off from Martin Heights onto Rt. 85. They say Conley didn’t see the other vehicle while making a right turn, causing the collision.

Maclean’s vehicle rolled as a result of the crash. He was evaluated and released at the scene. No one else was in his car at the time.

The crash is under investigation.
