No Injuries in Scarborough House Fire

It took firefighters about three hours to stop a fire in Scarborough.

The fire happened Wednesday at a home on Church Street, according to Scarborough Fire Chief Mike Thurlow.

The Portland Press Herald reports four people escaped safely.

The fire caused extensive damage to an addition to the home, but the main house itself is in good condition.

The blaze is under investigation.
