No new coronavirus cases reported due to state lab holiday closure

The Maine CDC reported no new coronavirus cases, but this was due to the state lab being closed on Friday for Christmas.

As of Friday, the total number of cases across the state stood at 21,547. With 8,517 of those cases being confirmed and 3,030 probable.

The death toll remains at 319.

The highest amount of coronavirus cases are in Cumberland County with 6,472, York County with 4,300, Androscoggin County with 2,438, Penobscot County with 1,844, and Kennebec County with 1,590.
