The coronavirus surge continues in Maine as the Maine CDC reported 2 new deaths, and 159 more cases of coronavirus, Saturday.

The latest deaths are from a man in his 70’s and a woman in her 80’s both from Somerset County. Their deaths bring the death toll to 152.

Maine now has 7,603 cases of COVID-19 in Maine with 6,762 being positive, and 841 probable.

The Maine CDC also reported 76 new recoveries.
