PORTLAND, Maine (AP)   Maine officials say a five vehicle pileup on Interstate 95 near Scarborough slowed traffic on the highway, though there were no injuries.

Authorities say the crash happened on the northbound end of I-95 late Thursday morning. WGME-TV reports an SUV rear-ended a pickup truck that had stopped for a construction area.

Another vehicle then crashed into the SUV, and a fourth car hit the third car. A car that swerved to avoid the pileup ended up clipping one of the cars involved anyway.

Police say only two cars had to be towed and the pileup took about 20 minutes to clear.

No one was charged in the crash.
