Ogunquit Fire Chief On Leave

OGUNQUIT, Maine (WMTW) Ogunquit Fire Chief Mark O’Brien is on leave, according to our Info Partners at Channel 8. Town Manager Pat Finnigan confirmed this Thursday. Finnigan would not say why, or if O’Brien is still being paid.

O’Brien previously served as interim town manager after former town manager Tom Fortier was accused of theft. Fortier resigned last year and agreed to a deal with prosecutors earlier this week. Finnigan said the town’s four fire captains are sharing the chief’s duties while he is on leave.
