One Dead from School Bus and Motorcycle Crash in Augusta

One person is dead and another was flown to a hospital after a school bus and motorcycle reportedly crashed in Augusta Tuesday afternoon.

There were reportedly no students on the bus at the time of the crash near Cony High School.

A post by the city of Augusta said the crash occurred at the intersection of Cony Street and Pierce Drive, which runs through the school campus.

Cony Street was back open to traffic in both directions at 5:15 pm Tuesday. The crash reportedly took place at about 1:30 pm.

No further details have been released.
