One driver is injured after an early morning accident on I-295 in Bowdoinham Sunday.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, Bowdoninham Fire/Rescue say the car went into the median then through a guardrail before landing on its roof in the woods. The accident occurred around 6:30am Sunday in the northbound lane.

The driver who suffered non-life-threatening injuries was taken to the hospital. Maine State Police are investigating the crash.
