One Killed, Two Hurt in Durham Crash

DURHAM, Maine (WGAN) The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that left one person dead and two others hurt.

Our info partners at CBS 13 news report the crash happened around 1 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Shiloh Road and Deervale Road in Durham.

Deputies say one vehicle was involved. They say it went off the road and hit a utility pole.

The person who died has been identified as 26-year-old Rebecca Brown of Sabbatus.

The other two people that were in the car were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
