BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Police are investigating a shooting at a nightclub in Bangor.

Bangor police say officers responded to a report of shots fired at the address where Half Acre Nightclub and Diamond Gentlemen’s Club are located on Harlow Street. The call came in Sunday around 1:15 a.m.

Officers found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was being treated at the hospital on Monday.

The alleged shooter fled the scene before police arrived.

Investigators believe an argument between several patrons at the business escalated, leading to a physical altercation.
