York County deputies are investigating a three vehicle crash on Route 202 Saturday in Lebanon that left one person with serious injuries.

Deputies say a pickup truck driven by 22-year-old Samantha Hobbs of North Berwick crossed the center line and hit two oncoming SUVs, while ejecting Hobbs from her vehicle.

The second SUV caught fire, with people from both SUVs being taken to a hospital in Frisbie with minor injuries.

Hobbs was flown to Portsmouth Hospital due to the seriousness of her injuries, and her condition is not currently known.

The first of the two SUVs was driven by 50-year-old Kelly Galarza of Plymouth Mass, while the second SUV was driven by her husband, 50-year-old Nestor Galarza, also of Plymouth, Mass. Nestor, with their daughter, Rosabella Galarza, was a passenger in the second SUV.

The Galarza family were also traveling with their pets – 3 dogs and a cat – all were uninjured.

The Galarza family was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital, treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and later released.

The crash is being reconstructed by the Maine State Police.

Route 202 (Carl Broggi Highway) was closed for approximately 2 hours.
