Otisfield man charged with making bomb threat toward elementary school

A man from Otisfield is accused of making a bomb threat directed at a local elementary school.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says the threat was reported Wednesday morning, prompting a lockdown at Otisfield Elementary around 7:30 a.m.

43-year-old Lucas Johnson was arrested and charged with felony terrorizing following an investigation.

He was taken to Oxford County Jail and later released on bail.

As part of his bail conditions, Johnson is prohibited from contacting school staff or being on school property.
