PARIS, Maine (WGAN) Investigators believe a fire that destroyed a 3-story farmhouse in Paris on Wednesday was caused by someone welding.

Fire officials said the fire happened around 9 p.m. on Western Avenue. All five people who were inside made it out safely.

The Red Cross is helping those who have been displaced.

It happened just one day after another fire in nearby South Paris left a 5-year-old dead.
