Pedestrian Dead After Being Hit By Car in Lyman

A 28-year-old Lyman man is dead after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon.
York County deputies say Dominic Small was walking east in the 2200 block of Alfred Road in Lyman when he was hit by a 2017 Ford Focus driven by 37-year-old Ronald Pendelton of Old Orchard Beach.
Deputies say Small was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, but died on the way to the hospital.
The Kennebunk Police Department is reconstructing the crash, and an investigation is continuing.
Sheriff’s Deputies were initially sent to the scene at 2 pm Sunday.
