A woman was hit by a car on Broadway in South Portland Saturday night according to South Portland Fire officials.

Investigators said the call came in around 5 p.m. in front of 425 Broadway. The road was closed for almost four hours Saturday night as officers investigated. Fire crews said the crash involved two cars and pedestrian. It’s unclear how the accident happened or where the pedestrian was when the cars collided.

According to firefighters, the woman who was hit was transported to Maine Medical Center with “multiple fractures.” Her condition is currently unknown.
