Pedestrian killed while trying to cross the street in Bangor

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Bangor police say a pedestrian was killed while trying to cross the street last Tuesday.

Bangor Police Sergeant Wade Betters says 61-year-old Peter McIntosh of Bangor succumbed to his injuries on Thursday. They said he was trying to cross Summer Street around 5 p.m. when he was hit.

Police identified the driver of the vehicle as 74-year-old Philip Perkins of Hampden.

No charges have been filed and police are still investigating.
