Pilot found dead after New Hampshire plane crash

One person has died after a plane crash in New Hampshire.

On Saturday night around 8 o’clock, New Hampshire Fish and Game officials responded to Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford for a reported plane crash.

Crews began searching for the pilot on Saturday night, but the search was eventually suspended until Sunday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, dive teams found the pilot’s body in about 60 feet of water.

The NTSB is taking over the investigation into the crash.
