Five teenagers are accused of leading police on a chase in a stolen car that ended in Auburn.

A Lewiston police officer spotted a vehicle that was reported stolen Friday morning.

Deputies say the driver fled, leading police on a chase through Lewiston and causing two crashes before they were stopped in Auburn.

Three juveniles and two adults who were in the vehicle face several charges, with more charges possible as police believe the teens were involved in a string of car burglaries in Portland.
