Police have arrested two men in connection with robberies in Waterville and Fairfield.

The robberies occurred at a Bangor Savings Bank branch in Waterville Tuesday evening and a Circle K in Fairfield early Wednesday morning.

Police say they received a tip Wednesday afternoon that led them to a pair of suspects, 23-year-old Isaac Howard Sterling and 25-year-old Trevor Miller, both of Waterville.

The two were arrested and charged with robbery and criminal conspiracy.

Sterling is accused of robbing the bank and convenience store, while police say Miller was the getaway driver.

Both men were being held Thursday at the Kennebec County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
