Police asking for help locating South Portland woman who went missing from group home


UPDATE: Police say Janica has been safely located.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a woman who went missing from a group home in South Portland.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for 35-year-old Janica Jane-Marie Sublett. She went missing some time Wednesday morning from the group home at 8 Ocean House in South Portland.

Police say Janica has an intellectual disability and is considered endangered.

She’s a white female, 5’2″ weighing 190 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last known to have white shoes on. She doesn’t have a cell phone.

Anyone who sees her is asked to contact South Portland police.
