One man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash in Windsor early Thursday morning.

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Mud Mill Road around 3:10 a.m. to find a car that had gone off the road and crashed into trees.

The driver, 65-year-old Shawn Donovan of China, died at the scene. His passenger, a 42-year-old Augusta woman, was not conscious at the scene and was taken to Maine General Medical Center.
