Police say two Saco children safely located, mother in custody in Massachusetts

Maine State Police cancelled an Amber Alert for two children from Saco hours after it was issued and say the pair were safely located.

Police said Tuesday that 8-year-old Aleeah Patrock and 6-year-old Vincent Patrock went missing from their home on Ferry Road in Saco.

Police believe the two were taken on Oct. 3 by their mother, 27-year-old Alexandra Vincent.

A phone ping placed them in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon.

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, police cancelled the alert. They said Alexandra Vincent called police after the alert was issued. She agreed to turn herself in to police in Woburn, Massachusetts.

She’ll be detained pending an extradition hearing. Arrangements were being made to have the children returned to Maine.
