Police charge Cushing woman in connection with ax attack

A Cushing woman accused of attacking a man with an ax made a court appearance on Wednesday.

According to the Courier-Gazette, 53-year-old Sherry Hart allegedly hit a man with an ax at a home on Prior Lane around 10:30 Tuesday night. Officers arrived to find an injured man who needed stitches, but he declined transportation to the hospital.

Hart was charged with aggravated assault. She’s being held on $10,000 bail.
