Police charge two men with mailbox thefts in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, Maine (WGAN)  Cumberland Police say they have made arrests in connection with mailbox thefts in the town.

Police say between June and late August, two people were cashing checks taken from mailboxes in the Range Road area.

Police say 29-year-old Martin Beavers from Portland was charged with forgery, theft and violation of conditions of release and 24-year-old Dominic Barbosa from Lowell, Massachusetts was charged with forgery.

Both have a court date in October.
