Police Close Road After Logging Truck Accident in Naples

NAPLES, Maine (WGAN) Police in Cumberland County say a logging truck flipped over on to it’s side due to Wednesday’s winter weather, causing the road to be closed for several hours.

Police responded to the crash near 977 Sebago Road in Naples a little before 10AM Wednesday. The 53-foot trailer was heading northbound when it left the roadway on a curvy section, landing on it’s side in a ditch.

The driver, 55-year-old Phillip Howard Jr. from New Hampshire, was evaluated by EMS for a complaint of pain.
