Police identify Buxton motorcyclist killed in crash involving school bus

Police have released the identity of the motorcyclist who died after he was struck by a school bus in Buxton.

The crash happened on Route 202 or Narragansett Trail near River Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the MSAD 6 bus was turning left on to River Road when the driver struck the motorcycle being driven by 55-year-old Timothy Hagerman of Buxton.

Hagerman was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

No children were on board the bus at the time, but the driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
