Sabattus Police say they have identified a potential suspect following a bomb threat at Oak Hill High School last week, according to Sabattus Police Chief Sheila Wetherbee.

Wetherbee and office Ryan Jones responded to a potential bomb threat at the high school on October 22 at approximately 9:07 a.m., according to a press release sent Friday night.

A written threat on a wall of the facility, with a message indicating an explosion would occur on school grounds on a specific date in the near future was discovered by school representatives.

The possible suspect has been identified, but no charges have been filed as of Friday, pending the completion of the investigation.

The school will remain locked through the weekend, and there will be a police presence on Monday when students return to school.

Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Sabattus Police Department by calling 207-375-6952.
