Police in Lewiston searching for driver involved in hit-and-run

Police in Lewiston are looking for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run.

Police are asking for information about the incident, which happened Monday morning around 10:30 at the intersection of Lisbon Street and Adams Avenue.

They say the driver struck a pedestrian and then took off. The suspect was driving a red four-door SUV style vehicle.

Police say the condition of the victim is unknown.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the police.
