The Maine Dept. of Public Safety says a silver alert has been issued for a man who “has been in crisis for at least the last two days.”

The alert was issued by the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

Bret Libby, 26, was last seen walking into the woods off Jo Mary Rd. around 12 a.m. Tuesday.

A press release from public safety spokeswoman Shannon Moss said Libby was not wearing clothing at the time.

Moss said Libby is from Long A Township.

The release provided no further information on the “crisis” the man was going through.

Police say if anyone sees Libby they should not approach him.

Anyone who sees him is asked to contact police.
