Portland police say they’re investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Officers patrolling near the intersection of Riverside Street and Warren Avenue heard the gunshots around 3:20 A.M. They found a vehicle being driven by a Portland man who told them that the occupant of a silver Mercedes sedan had fired several shots at him while he sat in his vehicle at the intersection’s traffic light.

No one was hurt.

Police believe there may have been a confrontation between the occupants of both vehicles.

Police are still investigating and asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to give them a call.
