Maine State Police are investigating the death of an infant.
According to the Portland Press Herald, police were called to a home on Route 115 in Windham on Wednesday afternoon to investigate. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the infant’s death does not appear to be suspicious.
The child was just 6-months-old.
