Police Investigate Death of Man Struck By Snow Hauler

PORTLAND, Maine (AP)  Police in Maine’s largest city are investigating a fatal crash involving a city-owned commercial vehicle that resulted in the death of a man.

Portland police say they respond to the crash at 3:46 a.m. on Saturday. They say a dump truck carrying a load of snow struck and killed a 58-year-old city man who was walking on a major street.

Police say the pedestrian who was killed had not been identified as of Saturday mid-morning
