Police investigate discovery of unresponsive woman in ditch

SUMNER, Maine (AP) Police in Maine are seeking information about a woman who was found unresponsive in a ditch in Sumner.

Police say 47-year-old Holly Perron, of Sumner, was found injured on Tuesday night. She was brought to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where she was in serious condition. The hospital has since declined to release further information.

The Sun Journal reports Perron was found by a driver, who called 911. Police say Perron’s bicycle was lying next to her. They’re still investigating how she was injured.
