Maine State Police say a Milbridge man died in a crash in Washington County.

Police say the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Old Route 1 in Jonesboro. 23-year-old Devin Lee was killed. Police say they’re still investigating and did not disclose the cause of the accident, but say speed was a factor and that Lee wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

A photo of the accident shows the vehicle struck a tree.

Lee’s vehicle was the only one involved in the crash, and he was the only occupant.
