Police Investigating Body Discovered in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Maine (AP)   Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a Lewiston parking lot near a greenhouse operated by a local florist.

The Sun Journal reports the woman’s body was found Wednesday morning.

Lewiston police are investigating a death. Detectives declined to say whether it’s suspicious in nature.

Maine State Police crime scene investigators are also at the scene. The identity of the woman was not immediately released.
