Police issue warning following reports of man exposing himself in Portland

Portland police are warning residents about a man who has been exposing himself and following women.

Police say there have been four reports in the past week of a man exposing himself and behaving in a lewd manner in parks and on trails.

Two incidents were reported at Capisic Pond Trail and two at Baxter Woods.

Police are stepping up patrols in those areas. They’re urging everyone to be aware of their surroundings. No image or description of the man has been provided yet.

The department says that anyone with photos or videos of these incidents can provide them anonymously by texting their Crime Tip Line with the keyword “PPDME” to 847411 (TIP411).
