Police in Bath say a 17-year-old girl who they believe left a group home to meet with an unknown male has been found safe.

Police say Alyssa Guyer, who’s from New Hampshire, left the group home in Bath on Tuesday night without her belongings or medications.

On Wednesday, police said Guyer was found safe in New York.

In a release, the department said Detective Marc Brunelle acted on information provided by the public and coordinated with police in New Hampshire and New York to find her.
