Police make arrests in connection with vandalism of Scarborough school property

SCARBOROUGH, Maine (WGAN) Scarborough police have charged two 18-year-olds and a juvenile with vandalizing school property in July.

Police say Griffin MacVane of Windham and Robert Maynard of Westbrook were arrested Tuesday. They’ve been accused of vandalizing the turf field at the Clifford C. Mitchell sports complex on July 2nd. A 17-year-old juvenile from Windham was also issued a juvenile summons in connection with the incident.

MacVane was charged with aggravated criminal mischief and driving to endanger. Maynard has been charged with aggravated criminal mischief, driving to endanger, and violation of condition of release.
