Police: Man Charged with Terrorizing, Fired Gun

SANFORD, Maine (AP)   A man has been accused of threatening to shoot people with a gun in Maine.

Police in Sanford say a man left a residence on Tuesday night, and then shot a gun before re-entering. No injuries were reported.

Police say some neighbors were evacuated. They say the man surrendered to police about 45 minutes later.

Police identified him as 53-year-old Bruce Hunter and charged him with terrorizing. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer, and a number for him was disconnected.
